• To prepare and send a quote, set up remote deployment, and provide service communications.
  
  

• To keep basic records (e.g., device counts, plan fit).
  
  

• We do not sell your data.

Sharing

• Service providers we use to operate: Google (Forms/Workspace/Sites), and—if you become a customer—security software vendors/resellers solely to provision licenses (e.g., Bitdefender distributor).

Retention

• Quote inquiries: up to 12 months unless you become a customer.
  
  

• Customer records: retained as needed for service and legal/accounting obligations.

• We use reputable cloud providers and limit access to business need-to-know. No method is 100% secure.
  
  

Your choices

• You can request access, correction, or deletion of your info by emailing PalmGuard@palmguardit.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.
  
  

Updates

• We may update this Privacy Policy; the “Last updated” date will change. Material changes will be noted on this page.
  
  

Terms of Service

Scope of services. Remote-only managed antivirus and related setup/policy tuning for small businesses. We are not a general helpdesk and do not provide on-site work.

What’s included (typical)

• Antivirus licensing (e.g., Bitdefender) as stated in your quote.
  
  

• Remote install, policy configuration, and basic monitoring/alerting.
  
  

• Plan-specific deliverables (e.g., weekly health email, monthly report) as listed in your quote.
  
  

What’s not included (unless quoted)

• On-site visits, general IT helpdesk, backups, disaster recovery, email migration, networking, hardware repairs, or emergency incident response.
  
  

• Any work not expressly listed in your quote/proposal.
  
  

Your responsibilities

• Provide necessary admin permissions and accurate device counts.
  
  

• Keep devices online for deployment/updates.
  
  

• Follow security guidance we provide (e.g., whitelisting).
  
  

Fees & payment

• Fees are as stated in your approved quote (licenses + managed service).
  
  

• Invoices are due per the quote terms. Service may pause for overdue accounts.
  
  

Term & termination

• Either party may terminate per the quote terms or for material breach.
  
  

• On termination, managed service ends and licenses may be deprovisioned unless otherwise agreed.
  
  

Warranties & disclaimers

• We provide services with reasonable skill and care.
  
  

• We do not guarantee that security incidents will never occur. No antivirus is perfect.
  
  

Limitation of liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to PalmGuard in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
  
  

• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (e.g., lost profits, data loss).
  
  

Governing law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of {{Florida, Palm Beach}} (without regard to conflicts of law). Courts in {{West Palm Beach, Florida}} shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  
  

Trademarks

• Bitdefender is a trademark of its respective owner. Use here is descriptive only.
